Dreadnoughts Unlimited

We have awarded six scholarships this year to Steve Kaufman's Acoustic Kamp. Three are going to flatpicking guitar kamp, one to mandolin kamp, and two to banjo kamp. Here is a short profile for each of them

Seth Naugler of Naugler Guitars in Buck's County, Pennsylvania is building the Brazilian Rosewood/Adirondack Spruce dreadnought guitar that we will be giving away during week 2 of SKAK this year. To see examples of Seth's work, go to Naugler Guitars. To see the specs for the guitar and to check on it as it is being built, check out Seth's blog at The 2008 Scholarship guitar. We will also conduct a drawing for a Recording King "Sweethearts of the Rodeo" guitar during week two of kamp.

We will conduct drawings during week 2 of SKAK to give away instruments. A donation to the DU Scholarship fund will get your name in these drawings. In 2008, we will conduct drawings during week 2 of kamp. You do not have to be present to win.

Dreadnoughts Unlimited is a non-profit entity that has been established to provide scholarships to needy and eager musicians who will benefit from a week at Steve Kaufman's Acoustic Kamp. We have awarded several scholarships over the last seven years. The scholarships are funded mainly by individual donations. To donate to the fund and get into the drawings, click here.

Thanks for supporting the scholarships since 2001.

Please contact Dreadnoughts Unlimited for information on the scholarships. For information on Steve Kaufman's Flatpicking Kamp and Steve Kaufman's Acoustic Kamps, you can go to Steve Kaufman's Acoustic Kamp.
